Antropy
Why Antropy? Is it a real word? In thermodynamics, entropy is the amount of disorder in a closed system. The second of law thermodynamics states that in any closed system, entropy will always increase, and the system will become more and more disorganised.
This also tends to happen with software over time as new changes are introduced by subsequent developers, reducing speed and future maintainability, and introducing bugs.
Antropy is intended to mean the opposite of entropy, because we feel that high on the list of priorities in writing good software is keeping the code clean and well organised.
Philosophy
We believe that things should never be made more complicated than they need to be. It's no coincidence that software is much faster, more efficient and more maintainable when it's simpler.
We believe in elegant solutions that don't just fix today's problems, but that are extensible well in to the future, because they were done right first time.
We believe that the future is automation, and that every system should automate as much as possible. It should be easy to use by being as simple as possible, both on the inside, and on the interface that it presents to its users.
